What is inVideo?
The invideo is an online tool that can be accessed through a desktop or mobile browser. Once you’ve uploaded your raw footage there, you can edit the video online using pre-configured templates. In addition, it gives you all the usual editing tools that you find in paid software.
Best of all, the tool is straightforward to use and takes no time to get used to. Whether you need landscape or portrait videos for your social media profiles, In video lets you create them in no time.
InVideo templates are really cool and allow you to create any type of video you want. But first, you are presented with three options. The first pre-made templates let you access over 4000 pre-made clips and customize them to your liking. You can add text to them, change their length, change the music, and more.
The second option is text in the video, mainly used by news organizations to convert their articles to videos. You can add highlights from the article in a text template, and In video will create a relevant video for you. The third option is called Blank Canvas. The best part about all these options is that you can create comprehensive (16:9), square (1:1), or vertical (9:16) videos.
The first step after logging in is to choose one of the three options mentioned above. Assuming you’ve selected a blank canvas, you’ll then be presented with the standard Invideo Editing interface. It is highlighted with a preview window. As well as a timeline and a set of tools and resources. All these options are located on the left side of the screen. Timeline gives you the ability to shuffle your clips, trim them, replay them, and basically do whatever the normal Video Editing Timeline lets you do. Layers for music and voiceover are also provided, so you can easily edit the audio aspects of your clips. Speaking of music, In video gives you a bunch of free music to choose from.
The preview window is in the centre, giving you a clear view of every little detail added to the video. On the left are your tools, and this is where you will spend most of your time. The most important part here is the upload button, with which you can import your clips into In video.
Depending on the size of the clips and your internet connection, this may take a while, but once downloaded, they will work as seamlessly as any other website video template. You can drag it around the timeline, crop it, add text over it, or decorate it with graphics, overlays, stickers, and more.
The inVideos section contains all stock videos that you can use for your purposes. Below is an image section that allows you to add stock photos to your clips. Add overlays, create collages and masks, use animated text, and much more can be done using this menu on the left side of the screen.
All you have to do is double-click an item of your choice, and it will be added to the timeline, ready to be edited. When you’re done, all you have to do is click the Upload and share button at the top and choose the output resolution. The edited video will now be downloaded to your hard drive. Finally, In the video also has a collaboration feature that allows you to work with your colleagues.
